piaggio nrg power 70cc

havent been on here in a while but ive had a right drama with this bike , i replaced the piston fired up perfectly and it had a bit of a rumbly sound which i thought was gearbox bearings so i took it round the block and it cut out and lost compression so i took the barrell off and the second piston was damaged and looked as if metal had got on the top of it still the barrell was ok though which was lucky so i thought id do it all properly took the engine out all the variator and clutch out replaced the gearbox bearings and put the barrell back on and spun the engine over by hand to make sure it was nice and free and then it felt really rough so i took the barrel back off and spun the crank again and it felt rough so instantly thought big end bearings which it was. so took the crank out and all the metal was from the big end bearing braking up and the seals were fucked so im just waiting on bearings then it will all be going back together. been off the road for a month now been a right ball ache but at least it will be right when its back together fingers crossed will put some pictures up soon just dont have a camera phone atm as my iphone broke aswell!!! not been a good month for me

small update got all the bits today so pics will be up saturday

 

got some great news all the cranks in all new bearings in the gear box and crank bearings and seals runs like a dream now i forgot to take pictures of the crank out so no pics but i will get some pics up of it soon done a few little bits to it lately thanks to everyone on this forum that helped me and a massive thanks to shiny red tuning website!!!!!!!!

yeah its done me well never really let me down apart from all the work i had done but it would of happened sooner or later what do you all recon its worth??

 

well always a 50cc scooter is a must in a family! even if you got a car or something... and why is that?? because a 50cc is economical, cheap, if your car or something else brakes down you use that also if you want to go for a quick run in the city that is the solution i bought mine brand new for 2.350 euro... its not even worth selling it for 800 euro since nobody will buy it if you put higher money... and all the work and stuff put into it, its just not worth selling... you will never get your money back.

 

thats probably why im not going to sell mine when i start driving...
