took some pics of it nice and clean sunday in the sun here they are... and all the bits i put on at the weekend. could someone tell me if i put a weaker torque spring in what would it do to the bike?
cheers mate just be prepared to keep them clean they are a bastard to clean you cant just blast them off you have to wipe them all round to get water marks and that off. going to try stiffer clutch springs a polini belt and maybe lighter rollers on wednesday see how it goes
yeh trust me im a clean freak i wax and polish my bikes 2 times a week and then put the hose on mist to see the water beading
nope.. you have to adjust... for example 3 light rollers and 3 heavy rollers.. get my point?? also veryyyyyyyyy clean! i have cleaned mine aswell but didnt have time to get pics will do if there is some good weather this week and if the scoot is clean
were you live i just had mine wrapped and it looks sick ...my has his own buisness it car tuning and he wraps and tints and all sorts so a can get him to do it cheaper
i live near bathh?? and yeah im a bit of a clean freak too haha, polish and wax my wheels once a week and clean it twice sometimes even 3 times a week haha i hate the rain but i just love turning up places on a mint bike. my mates like the total opposite and it just annoys me how dirty his bike is haha when he opens up the seat its all dirty and shit its horrible. you wouldnt walk around in dirty clothes now would you?? haha
lol i usialy abuse my peds and just look after the motorbikes polishing them and that although no motorbikes now and peds off the road heap of shit
totally agree and my mates are the sme there like why dont you just get the nrg mot'd as it is and i was like because it needs to be mint before i ride it
yeah haha and you wont ever be disapointed when you come to sell it mines going to get a good going over tomorrow take all the carb off polish it up all round the engine take all the panels off do that once a month haha
I would say the bike looks nice (obviously it is, because its an NRG ) but these wanky college computers dont load the pics, will have a look later when Im home. I would clean mine more often but theres no point round here in Cymru (Wales)! its winding me up aswell because Im missing the cover that goes over the carb and all that, so my carbs always caked in cow shit and dirt. I cleaned mine last week, the main reason that i actually started cleaning is i had to clean the carb to actually see the screws to adjust the carb!
same i spend like 2 hours cleaning my wheels and engine and exhaust just to go out on the sameday then it gets caked in salt and mud
if you go on a site called piaggio spares you can get one of them plastic covers mine never came with one and i bought one not long ago they look loads better just tidies it up more. yeah but it only takes me an hour to do mine now where the dirt isnt like stuck on it haha to much silicone and wax on mine where as if you do it once a month it makes it harder. have you lot ever used tyre black on the edges of the tyres hahaa??
i think its laying around somewhere, somewhere... need the screws to attach it aswell, am planning on getting it back on
justy got my bike setup took all day pf trial and error but i got there. currently i got a polini belt hard torque spring and polini variator with 3, 7g rollers and 3, 4.5g rollers goes like fuck now. also i downjetted from an 80 mainjet to a 78 and took the metal thing out of the carb air intake bit. who ever had this bike before didnt know how to set it up properly goes well now!
so tempted to rebuild it with a stage 6 cast iron kit and maybe get a stage 6 pipe maybe bigger carb hmmmm...
