the exhaust and carb set up? ive never really tuned 50's but had a typhoon with a pm 70 kit and couldnt get it to run with a 17.5 carb for love nor money, got a 21ml on there and was far easier to set up correctly. was using a zx pipe on that set up also

if im honest lads im after something to get to work on and maybe have a laugh on im not even thinking of gear up or a new exhaust, im after reliability and a little fun, if i was 10 yrs younger @ 16 i would be hassling me mam and dad and searching for a job to pay for a massive tuning project but im 26 with alot of bills so i will take any advice on getting my ride reliable and a bit faster than 30 lol but i do appreciate any help i receive lol

on a air cooled kit there is no need for anything bigger than the 17.5 maybe you just had a dodgy carb my brother was having trouble with his typhoon 80 carb he stripped it and bought all new bits to refurb it and it still was giving him bother then it turned out there was a hair line crack in it which caused the prob in the end a second hand carb sorted the prob and yeh as i said the TT pipe is designed for 50cc engines and they did the zx for the 50/70cc engine. they dont make the zx now its the zx-r but its still designed for 50cc+ engines and the TT is still sold for 50cc engines.

the tt runs well on a 50 barrel and so does the zx but the zx is even better on a 70 kit were as the tt can hold a 70 kit back

just keep it stock bud and derestrict it and if you want something quicker do what im doing get a cheap second hand engine you can bolt what you want onto and keep the stock engine for spare

im willing to spend decent money to get this thing moving again and make it look purely standard im not painting out or buying new grips to make it look fast lol just want a nice lookin and goin ped
