Piaggio engine rebuild

    interested in fitting an aircooled engine to my italjet dragster,,they come with the gilera runner liquidcooled engine

    any ideas?

    Yikes, thats a lot to think about.
    Why not just get a water cooled runner 125 lump, loom and cdi, and then mod that to a 180?

    You need a rolling nut typhoon 125/Aprilia sr 125 rolling nut engine (with caliper lugs), these are the same cases as a L/C runner with out the water ways, these engines are drum brake as std but can be converted to disc and 13" rear wheel very easily. A 172 barrel, full circle crank, 25mm carb and a decsent pipe will work fine. As for the ignition I'd stick with the std a/c system, people say to use the L/C set up but mmm, I'll stick with what's made to fit n work!
