    I have 50cc Peugeot Trekker. When I start It up, wait for it to warm up (about 2mins+abit of revs) It goes like 65km/h and up but after like 5minutes It like, loses power? Up the very small hill I am riding at 20km/h ish and the speed keeps getting down. On the flat road It gets to 40km/h very slowly.
    Things I with my father have done:
    -new clutch because old one was like burned?;
    -cleaned carburetor;
    -changed belt;
    -changed rollers (7 grams);

    Could the piston rings be somehow snapped etc?
    Thanks for all the help!
    (p.s I am new here, don't know if It's the right section to ask for this kind of help)

    Issue fixed: oilpump failed, mixed in oil in fuel and ran without problems.

    Hiya dest and welcome to the shack.

    yep an oil pump failure will show a remarked drop in power as the motor starts to overheat, problem is ride it to long like that and the motor will soft seize or even fully seize up.

    going straight to tank is ok, but you will want to remove the oil pump and blank it off, if not get a repair kit and rebuild the pump back up again or replace the pump for new.

    workshop is the perfect place for your post , its a workshop fix that would be required and not really a tuning issue
