    @ Rems

I posted this on Scooter Nations - it's for the Speedfight 2 but it should translate to the Vivacity.

    http://www.scooternations.com/showthread.php?9372-Speedfight-2-100cc-ignition-repair

This wiring scheme should work with a bypass CDI unit. Try a quick hotwire as per the 'ignition on' and see if you get a spark. You should with a bypass CDI, as long as you have the correct black wire and not the lighting wire.

    @ Mark,

Can you please confirm that on the Speedy 1/2 where the wires are oriented in the plug that goes into the back of the ignition barrel?

I wired up the old CDI from the pictures and I found that the coil was dodgy so fit old one and work :)

But now have a cutting out issue on full throttle but I put this down to no weight on the bike
