@ Rems I posted this on Scooter Nations - it's for the Speedfight 2 but it should translate to the Vivacity. http://www.scooternations.com/showthread.php?9372-Speedfight-2-100cc-ignition-repair This wiring scheme should work with a bypass CDI unit. Try a quick hotwire as per the 'ignition on' and see if you get a spark. You should with a bypass CDI, as long as you have the correct black wire and not the lighting wire. @ Mark, Can you please confirm that on the Speedy 1/2 where the wires are oriented in the plug that goes into the back of the ignition barrel?
I wired up the old CDI from the pictures and I found that the coil was dodgy so fit old one and work But now have a cutting out issue on full throttle but I put this down to no weight on the bike

Got speedfight 100, 1997 model. Iv got no spark and I think the immobilser is cocking about but i DONT want to spend £100+ on the AEC400 bypass unit, got any suggestions?
