What a fucking knob end. I hate ripping off bastards, and if he did ring you saying that he damn well needs sorting out. The money's bad enough, but for him to be showing off about it.... proper cunts trick. I hope you manage to sort it, would be good if the police helped you, but if they don't I wouldn't be able to just let it go if I was you. Good luck anyway.

that's not sarcasm.. he seems to grow some balls when he's had a drink and actually answers his phone for a change. i bet he's some little nerd sitting there shitting himself when he is on his own!.

 

sounds like a cunt same thing happened to my misses on a forum she sent someone £80 for a mobile the same way as you and that was the last she heard from that person. she did it while i was at work then called me up saying there not answering my messages when she explained to me what she had done i went mad you neer ever send via bank transfere you cant get your cash back through the bank and the cops are reluctant to do anything over what they class as small amounts of money.
what i would do is go to the police station with everthing you have tell them whats gone on and then i would tell them that in the phone call you had from him he was threatening to come to your house and hurt you and your family tell them he even gave you your address i know this works as my old boss did it over a dodgy cheque they went round had a go at him and while they was there got the goods back of the fella.

he will have done this before and knows how easy it is to get cash of someone another forum i go on this was happening till someone went to the lads house and sorted him then he tried again a few months later but the police got involved with that as he was scamming lots of peaple on lots of forums were exactly does he live cos im not far from bradistan

 

Tbh dont get sucked into internet talk as alot of people who say they will go round to houses won't actually and it seems obvious but there's nothing to say this guy won't have 10 of HIS mates in the front room when you knock at the his door after driving 200 miles...

No wonder they have both gone quiet i suppose they are brothers and his brother has scammed someone on his account :/ and grant is acting dumb

I agree with you, but i would keep my plans to myself and not warn him of your intentions.

Cheers mate, i've messaged grant.. he seems a nice bloke but obviously his brother simon has used his account and made money out of him. grant still has the parts i think he should send me the parts and then his brother owes him £120, i know i would to get my reputation cleared if my brother done the same!.

 

I hope he does the right thing.

 

If he doesn't he's just as bad as his brother tbh :/.. i think everyone on here would respect him for doing that rather than just letting his brother get away with it

What an attitude, he's not even apologetic which speaks volumes. An approach like that won't wash with the Police and it suggests that he is in on the scam..

 

Police are coming around tomorrow to see all the messages and try to sort something out

 

Good news, The Police will investigate this and the more evidence you have the better your chances of getting a result. The chances are that you are not the only one who has been scammed and he may be known to the local law.

 

Hopefully there is a result, people like this shouldn't be allowed to get away with it!.. Only local police are actually being helpful, action fraud and the main police aren't doing anything about it :/
