fan works fine, doesnt really get hot enough for it to come on tbh, done a fairly large service on it on saturday, new plugs, carbs cleaned through and through, new air filter, oil and filter, clutch cable, throttle cables, headlight bulbs, headrace bearings adjusted, new fork seals, totally derestricted it aswell by taking out the cresent copper washer at the back of the clocks, fresh coolant(thats how i know the fan works).

took it down to selsey yesterday, no probs at all. got just over 135 down the A3

    such a revvy engine :)

    :)

i was quite shoked at how well it goes considering its age (87) and the 48k its got on the clocks.

140ish is not bad at all for a 400 considering that modern 600's get 150-160 and thats 20 years down the line

    do your test kyle :p

sorry chad, didn't think to take pics, its just there as you take the clocks apart you cant miss it, copper half moon thingy, whip it out and the 105mph restriction no longer exists, also you may need to change the cdi,if its got a blue sticker on then its restricted, gold ones aint.

minor mate, lovin it, 14k is a shit load of revy revy :D

    INO ,cheers fella

i got it free as no one at my work believed that i would pass my theory and my practical first time, i proved the fuckers wrong and my manager hapilly signed over the log book.

had a bit of an accident already  lol just caught the back of a civic and cracked his rear light lense, got more fucking damage on my bike , all the paint cracked and flaked off where the fairing flexed :emb: , no biggie going off to the bodyshop next tuesday to have a full respray in original colours and decals, will get some pics up

one offs of anything can be made, cost is the factor. there 200 odd quid for a half decent set of rearset's and thats with a company making thousands of them... making one set would mean resetting a machine for every single process. production cost would be immence. but depending on desighn its worth asking. things cost silly money for a reason. usually production numbers. the less you make the more they cost on avarage
