if the chokes stuck on...it will run really rich when hot!!

so maybe when you stop and let it idle the plug is fouling up causing rough running!!

could also explain why it runs ok when cold...as the engine needs a richer mixture when cold!!

not choke, its manual and ive checked it all and it alll releases fine.

had a fiddle with carb mix, a bit better, but only goes 40-45 but it used to go 55-60 clock speed.

    so

    basically

    WTF!

    RIGHT!

no air leeks, pipes fine, carbs fine, throttle and choke are fine.

it feels like its restricted or somthing, it revvs fine on the stand, but it doesnt on the road, i havnt get a clue and now its really funking pi55ing me off!

    nope.

i took the carb off on monday to check the jet size, and put it all together identical to how it was, then the problems began.

since then ive cleaned all the carb, breathers, cables etc, sealed the exhaust and manifold, changed rollers but still problems!

could i have had a partial seize?

oh yeah, my dad seems to think its the clutch, or somthing to do with transmission, although i disagree

the engine does rev okay on the stand, so could it be nything to do with the clutch, i thought it would revv a lot with a dodgy clutch/belt but not move as mch as it would slip?

any ideas, 'cause im running out of ideas!

its back how it came off, its all been cleaned etc.

then again it was fine in the next morning after taking it off, and half way home in the afternoon, so somthing else could have gone in the process, i was ragging it home a bit locking up etc

Try a new spark plug, they can cause a lot of problems.

Where abouts are you? Someone might live near you and may be able to help you.
