Chubz I done 1000 between coats of paint and laquer. Just ordered a buffing kit and some 2000 off eBay. Should be even better with that. Can you recommend a compound to use? Or will t-cut do the job??

Im not sure tbh mate, i never used and compounds or waxes... 2000 should be ok, just go over it lightly and then get some laquer on it, wait for it to dry, wet and dry it, then lacquer again.... Thats how iv always painted my bits anyway, and they've always come out well. Could tcut it once its finished i guess :)

Don't use tcut, take a look here:

    http://www.scootershack.co.uk/threads/guide-respraying-with-cans.64/

The last section explains the following:

If any drips was made from the laquer you try sandin them down with p1500 Wet and dry paper. Nothing less ! After the panels have dried properly refit carefully. and use an expensive polish and wax - maguires showroom polish and gold class wax is the best but may burn a hole in your wallet. DO NOT GO NOWHERE NEAR T-CUT. T-Cut is for old, scratched, weatherd paint work. It strips a layer off your paint work to remove weathering and swirls, as the paint work is new it will not need t-cut for ages !!
