yeah tried un plugging it, makes it work ok for like a min or so longer but after that the problem still persists.

even in testing yestardy again i went down a huge ass hill and lifted off the throttle, went back on it again and the engine struggled to rev and stayed at 15-20 mph the whole way home.

tried it this morning again, seemed to work ok all morning just a bit slow up to 10 mph untill i left it sitting for about half an hour. went back out, started it and it wouldn't go over 15 mph again.

Are you letting the engine warm up properly on a cold start(engine been left for more than 30mins)?? Does it not clear up at all once the engine gets hot? Or is it when the engine is hot the problem arrives?

Im totally lost now.. Do a plug chop.. Get the rollers suggested above.. If that dont fix it then maybe its a timing problem.

Have you checked the silly things most people forget like the fuel lines for bubbles, faulty fuel taps and clogged fuel filters (if your bike has one)?

yea fuel line and tap were cleaned and tested.

basically if i went out now and started the ped (has been sitting in the garage all evening) let it warm up for a few minutes and then get on twist the throttle and it will go across my back yard as it it were running fine takes off nicely etc. if i then stop or let off the throttle and go to take off again there will be no power what so ever to approx 12 mph were it will hit the power band and just take off, say you take it up the road and have it on wide open throttle or even half open and let off and re-apply it there will be a loss in power. pull over and try to go again it will not go over 15-20 mph. and at that 15-20 mph the rpm will be low and stay low, wont even rev out going down a hill!

anyone able to tell me if the gears behind the shaft that the clutch sits on could cause something like this? theres some kind of white shit in where the gear oil goes but on the old engine its a nice green oil in there. or is it just basically two drive gears in there?

Yea its gotta be roller weights are too heavy, when you go full throttle and let off, and re-apply full throttle does it bog madly then all of a sudden cut in again? Thats heavy rollers.

Also, poor off the line acceleration is down to heavy rollers and not stiff enough clutch springs, but mainly rollers from what you described.

Taking 2 rollers out wont fix the problem it will only wreck the engine if you keep doing it.

Like I said above, get lots of different weight rollers and try them, lighten up 1 gram at a time and see how it goes.

it will bog down to 15 mph and stay there! even down a hill it wont pick up at all.

also it does not go past 15-20mph untill you stop and let it cool down a bit,
