Is it possible to get these at an NHS dentist, I need a filling on my back molar and I want the most durable material for it so it won't constantly break due to it being a high pressure biting area. My private dentist wants way too much, can I ask an NHS dentist for gold? How much extra is it likely to cost?

I would love to go across mainland europe but I don't have the time outside of work to do that, I'm at work 6 days this week and this cavity needs attention now.

Had mine done in denmark. Was cheaper by £300 to be done there including flights. But i did have 6 full teeth done after a crash.

Well naturally. You have to pay for any filling material that isn't amalgam, but it's generally cheaper to have it done with an NHS dentist than a private dentist no matter what material you want.
