He is local to me too which is good so I might go and have a look tonight, I have been looking at the Kymco Agility 125cc too...I have seen some good some bad reviews, although the bad ones havent been anything major unlike some of the scoots I have been looking at, whats your thoughts on them?
I can get one for £1569 OTR....just not sure whether to go for one or not, or I can get the 50cc for around £300 cheaper...any thoughts would be great! :)

To be fair mate every scooter has its good and bad points, but thats a descision thats upto you a mate of mine use to have an aerox back when I was 16 and it seemed a good scoot as did my mate who had a kymco. But it wasnt an agility he had it was another model.

Go for the one which would suit for its intended purpose :)

Ok cool thanks for that :) I just need to find a scoot that will be good for the 28 Mile round trip to work each day and isnt going to fall to bits after 3 months you know.

I would recomend having a look for a piaggio zip 100 4t more power than my 50 version and an engine thats bombproof, might not be as tunable as its a 4 stroke but will be a good bet to come into £600 budget :)

Hire a van if its a fair distance or better still if you've got a mate with a large car thats what I did :) I'll have a look on the web later see if theres any near you did you say your from the Southampton area?

Your right theres not many for sale around Southampton area, Ive found this one would be a bit of a journey, its a 125 the exhaust is a bit scabby but there cheap to buy, and it could be used to lower the price a bit which I think the seller is a bit optermistic about considering its a 2001 model

Failing that possibly budget a bit more and get a newer one as there seems to be a few bike dealers around the area or ask them if they have had any part ex scoots in that there getting rid of most bike shops do have the odd one kicking around :)

You see the trouble I have been having then haha I have looked in Hampshire and the surrounding counties too and nothing....well nothing that catchs my eye anyway.
Ah thanks for looking mate :) I might give the chap a call today see if he will drop a bit on the price.
Im not too worried about bits like that as I can easily get things like that sorted hey?
Its done nearly 14k Miles and the seller says it will be more as he uses it for work, so do you think its got much more life in it? Saying that what sort of miles would you expect from a scoot thats been looked after before it finally gives up the ghost?
    Sorry for all the questions!

Haha yea just a bit mate :D as for milage I'm not sure like anything really if its been looked after alls good, my zip is on its way to 12000km an still feels good that said I put a new belt on 6 month ago an thats just snapped but I've put that down to a duff belt tbh.

I noticed that speedfight aswell seems alright for the cash :)

Hmm have found this..... http://www.hampshiremotorcycles.com/kymco-scooters/agility-50/ .... its within budget and I have contacted the seller who had this to say:-

The bike would come with 2 years parts and Labour warranty.
one more thing is that the back up I get from Kymco is good and 90% of the time any part I need is in the country so I can then give good after sales care.
    Thoughts? lol

Ye thats what my thinking was too, do you know what the deal is with getting them de-restricted? can I get that done of the bat or do I have to be riding for an amount of time before I can get it done?

Ye I think I am :) Still not sure whether to really stretch my self and go for the 125 @ £1500 or the 50 @ £1100 and get it de-restricted as that will give it little more umpff hey? that should do me for the trip to work and back hey :)

for the sake of an extra £300 I'd stretch yourself to get the 125 as that will have a lot more umpff for your money against a derestricted 50, and you have a bit of power then for overtaking etc :)
