New to scooters

I just bought a 2011 piaggio zip he told me he’s put 1400 into the engine and apparently it has a 350 pound carb I know nothing to be honest I tell you now it is a fast bike and definitely exceeds the mph it’s supposed to go he says it has a 70s kit and all sort of aftermarket parts I payed 900 is that a good deal or not Ive also done a lot of reading uo which has made me worried about jetting says my moped will sieze if not jetted properly it driven mkre thwn 15 miles I have no clue lol

You would be amazed at just how much some can cost Malossi ones, for my old Runner VXR they are up at £400
