ok, you're right, everyone's wrong. i'll come back when i've owned 10 (9 so far) aprilia two strokes to give an informed argument instead of just an opinion. the rs is obviously a race bike as you said, me and the thousands of owners do nothing but rebuild them once a month. i've got a room full of rotax race engines, they need checking every 500 road miles. you're right again, race reps aren't daily drivers, we all know sports bikes don't sell and their racing successes don't influence sales. the rs has very very likely outsold the rg fun, tzr and nsr group combined. i'm sure if the rs only sold a few thousand units then we'd hear less problems too.
hey im not taking it away from anyone, nor saying you shouldent own one if you so wish.. but it really isnt a bike to buy and rely on.. no 2t is really, just find these a bit poor quality in whole, overpriced and part avalability is poo meaning therre not the best bikes for unknown people. i love shit bikes, dont expect peopel to agree, but i wouldent recomend half of what i liek to anyone particularly. i LIKE hassel
all of the above was what i corrected you and seanwhite on about the size of a 600 in comparison to a rs 125. i didnt say the bikes weight, wheel base etc had an effect of comfort levels. and no i like most people stopped growing after 21 so id say a vfr is just simply more roomy then a rs. to bring some closer to this long topic. i think we will have to agree to disagree. the fans of the rs will sing its praises and those who disagree wont. at the end of the day if you want one, buy one, and make up your own mind
alright m8 my bro has had 4 aprilia rs 125's he had one for a year which was the most trouble he had to replace the gearbox clutch cable and piston , one just blew up lol one managed to stay alive with no problems and the other one got stolen basically they are very quick bikes but they need a lot of maintainence aswell m8 hope ive helped
Re: haha sorry to bring it back from page 2 lol have u ever owned / ridden one before do u even like 2t do yourself a favor stop slagging off amazing bikes i had one for a while never had any problems on it only reason i sold it was the fuel econamy at the time were i didnt have a job got a 4t and i hate it id buy a rs125 again anyday i never go out for rides anymore cause the 4t is poo everyday i used to wake up and get dressed just to go somewere on the rs without reason loved every second on it
this thread is so dead that it should be buried and forgotten the subject has been discussed to death (no pun intended) people who like the rs will say "its great", "its good" etc, people who know its not will say "its shit", "burn them burn them all" agree to disagree and leave this old arse thread in the past where it belongs :good: :clapping:
hock: did fire just turn down an arguement? hes turned over a new leaf  but ye this could (and has) go on for years
the rs is a quality bit of kit m8 so doubt about it its a race bike and a fucking good one at that fast redline is there to be met not to be avoided like u pussys
if you took time to read through the tread you would notice its about weather or not the rs is a good road/learnerbike (which it isn't) not weather its a good "race bike" :good: :good:
its a race bike now is it? think you will find a race version is ALOT different.. race REPLICA (as in they look the same and are made form cheap shit) go away (if you havent already been banned)
Re: w 2 of my mates have the old and the new RS125;s they leave theres outside and not a single real problem
why do the new people insist on digging this old arse thread up over and over and.... over again :hmm:
