keep it simple.. change to a 70 kit with your pipe, set the rollers clutcvh and jeting up with the stock gearing/variator and the like wiht the airbox on and it will last well.... aslong as you set it up correctly of course. bigger carbs variators and the like give gains, but nothing major, complicate things too... id honestly just get a kit and pipe for now. done.

"A 70 kit" theres that many of the bloody things though... spoilt for choice imo haha...

and my dad seems adamant to never order from scooterattack again for some reason...

so any pointers as of which to go for? i could do with mainly 1 recomendation and 1 only lol rather than like 5 of you coming at me with like 6 different set-ups... :p

So suggestions on a 70 kit and where to get it from - AND A 70 KIT ONLY (i dont plan on complicating things too much atm..)

Yeah keep it simple, didnt mean id recommend it for you right now, just in general.... get a nice setup running sweet that you understand, before complicating it with other parts with smaller gains.

Wheyyy!!! changed the rollers in the ped - the ones that were in were 5g ones aparantly - and the ones in now are 3g...

although, 0-10/15 it goes nowhere (something to do with jetting/idle mix?)

then once it actually hits the powerband it just screams its bollocks off, doesn't sound too good tbh... lol

anyone know what it'll be doin? =]

haha thanks :) - still feels as though there should be something more there, just the sound of the exhaust makes it sound as though there should be a little bit more behind it, just the way it screams its arse off haha

You havent got the right roller weight, you need to play about with different weights until it stays in the power band straight from the pull off

im quite happy with it tbh, hits the power band same time as my mates rs50, and he's the only one of my mates that can keep up with me so im happy :)...

and it's always had the powerband there, even when i had the 5g rollers in, could it be the belt? in need of a new one? or is that just my mate trying to be clever and waste my money cos i earn more than him lol

ok, the stage 6 pro pipe is a pretty good performing lower-mid race pipe,

the problem is, most people who think they have a pro actually have a
    pro-replica ;)

post a pic or a link to the pipe to be sure :D

If you are looking for a 70 kit to compliment the pro pipe, go for a revvy 70 kit,
something like a polini corsa or Malossi MHR-rep or Stage 6 sport pro ;)

The normal polini/Malossi cast iron sport 70 kits make there power too early to get the full benefit out of the pro pipe :D

    Hope that helps...

I'd be looking at your clutch springs if theres a low speed problem as if they're too soft you won't be moving on take off.
As for a 70 kit to match a stage 6 pro you gotta remember the ones Dave just mentioned would both be needing a new crank fitting, to be honest you're going to be spending a lot so maybe an aluminium polini sport might be in your interests, as they supposedly rev a bit more but maintain the cast iron's porting, so it should be safe on a healthy crank...just get a good small end bearing while you're there. You won't be getting the best out the pipe but if you like it now you'll love it with that

ooohhh right k then i'll see about the clutch springs then - went up to cadets the other day with my mate (we meet n go up together lol..) as we got in there we parked next to the other peds (like 3 other ones) and he goes "somebodys clutch smells " then he said it wus mine...

this maybe quite badd? lol guessing so - but doing full throttle everywhere probably isn't that good...

and seeing as going with a 70 kit will cost in excess of 100 for the kit itself, then the rest, i aint gunna, cos i won't get it back at the end of the day and its just burning money i could be keeping hold of to buy a better car with :D haha

but yea thanks for the advice ;) i'll bear it in mind if i ever blow the engine up or something like that hah..
