Neos 50cc

I'm getting a 70cc kit for my neos and would like advice on what exhaust i should get please help???

that all depends on what 70cc kit you are thinking on buying...

theres all different spec 70 kits from mild (sports) to wild (Race)...the same with pipes,
you match the pipe to the kit

that would be the polini sport, had one my self once on my scoot, good dependable kit

any of the sport pipes would go well with that kit, its not really a big revver so doesnt need anything too fancy. leo vinci TT is a reasonable but cheap pipe to buy, or a little pricier you could go for a giannelli reverse or a Doppler S3R, depends how much dollar you want to spend really

Thanks mate my neos engine is fucked and i either have to fix the neos up and tune it up or buy a friends Aerox which has been tuned up with everything and top speed is 93mph but don't know if it is worth £1500 to be honest

If you can advice me on how to make my neos as good as that aerox I would be soooooo happy

well thats going to be 93mph clock speed, which wont be anything like 93mph actual speed

the question you gotta ask yourself is, how long is the aerox going to be going at those crazy speeds before it all goes pete tongue :cray:

i reckon with your level of knowledge you would be better off with a nice reliable sport set up,
that way you can give your m8 a lift home when his aerox fizzles out like a spent firework :thumbsup:

yeah fair enough mate i wont go for the aerox if ya think so then and for the record it was real speed his dad was in the car behind and seeing how fast he could go lol.

Do you know of many people on scooter shack which have done up neos to a respectable spped?

not off the top of my head...you could always have a look through the projects pages etc

I almost forgot the two exhausts that you suggested both dont go on a Neos unless donotlink-pedstop is wrong any other suggestions?

Dont buy that aerox for 1.5k unles your a tard (i think i know the guy if the aerox is blue and white)

and dont go for that polini exhaust

I'm sorry mate I'm a blind idiot read them wrong and I'm going to order the doppler S3R exhaust for the Neos. :grin:

For the Neos I'm getting:
POLINI 70cc CYLINDER KIT,
POLINI 21mm CARBURETTOR KIT ,
POLINI PRIMARY GEAR UP KIT 13/44 FOR MINARELLI ENGINES,
a new drive belt,
all new bearings.

Would you suggest a new crank now and change the clutch in a few months???

if your replacing the bearings and seals, might aswell get a crank and fit it whilst your at it

oh and if you think a road aerox that see's more than 100 miles between rebuilds does 93 then you REALLY need to give your bike to somone else to fit your crank/set the thing up...

no chance in hell its doing those speeds wihtout a sprint spec barrel. or silly long gears and a whole load of road (but then still the air at 90mph is alot to move... doubt it highly myself quite frankly.. doubt the fathers car is anywhere near accurate at those speeds ether) but ye, anyway... good advice from dave as usual. cant go wrong wiht a 21mm carb and a dopler s3r on a polini sport.
