You know it's gonna be real simple!, recheck to make sure all your wiring is connected securely and there all shiny
ill try that tomoz then mate when its light....also soon as this is sorted mate im getting rid and think im going to go for 125 of sort
A lot of Italian electrics are made by a company called Magneti Marelli and their logo is a double M; most bikers nickname them 'Mickey Mouse' electrics due to their lack of reliability!!
no mate i sorted the bogging with a 98 jet from a 85,,,,,and yes will be sold privatly its also booked in at midland scooter for Friday cos of the wiring lol,,,all my indectors and break lights stopped working the other day
The prosecution rests, my Lord; his bike has Mickey Mouse electrics and is guilty as (not) charged...
it is mate its bloody jinxed one thing after another but dose run and ride nice when its working PMSL
If you want serious jollies, you don't want a scooter. It used to be that the Suzuki RGV125 used to be as much fun as you could have on a 125 without taking your clothes off. Go on, lust after this...
i can ride geared bikes,,,,i like the rs125 aswell but mind you i like super moto type a bit more aprillia mx and the KTM exc
Gordon Bennett, there are some lightweights on here! "I can't ride that bike, it makes my hands hurt!" Sheesh; it makes you want to weep. Do you people put cushions on your seats to make yourselves comfy and wear hand muffs?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA no mate ill love me geared bikes but only just got back into bikes all to geather as needed one for work witch is mainly duel carriage ways any way
just read that if spark plug is black could mean my choke is stuck on could this be correct,,,as my plug was black as black and a little around the screw top and head ,,,, sorry if didn't mention before hand
how do i find the choke mate i have no idea on that,,,,,when i took plug out it was coverd in black and seems top wear screws in was black too
no the connector for the choke lol as its kind open over the back wheel nothing stopping ant wet splash backs of the wheel
Hello dwaine...just had a read of your problem and the most logical thing that jumped out at me was ...foam air filter...rain...I too have an open filter and it runs like a pig in the wet and runs brill in the dry after doing nothing to it apart from running it till the water that's got in the carb has been burnt off with the petrol..won't hurt sticking a yogert pot over the filter or a good water baffle on the rear guard to stop water splashing on the filter and clogging it all up and some getting in upsetting the mixture temperature...tiny bits of water vaporising in the petrol cools down your ignition temperature and thus Muller's your mixture and ignition mix balance..ide give all the electrics a good spray too just to help any water drain aWay before it becomes a proobem...but I think your just sucking in water and not to worry with puling anything apart till you've eliminated it as a possibility...yogert pots are cheap and easy to glue on....
