just gotta do the wiring wrapping and then start doing the the panels.front mud guard first so i can put the bearings in and do the brake/speedo cables and put the bars on.after that i can do all the other bits and bobs that are stopping me from pushing ahead with the next phase.

Might have mentioned the 1st repair I did on my vision (speedo cable),
careful when you're threading it through the column (esp.in relation/positioning),
    threaded my through o.k.,
but it rubbed through to bare within a couple of 100,
Somehow normal operation caused it to pulse in such
a way it abraded the sidewall.mk.

tip with speedo cable - wrap outer cable in electrical tape or do what I did on my 92 and run it through the body panels with the wiring loom instead of throught the bars + forks :)

wires all wrapped in the white tape ready for a black wrap when i can get some cash and buy some black tape...to say monies tight is an under statement..could be a while before i get the paint and start spraying so just have to crack on with what ever i can do till i run into the next hurdle.given myself 2 weeks so aint gonna stress..if it gets done before all the better but for now...slowly slowly..catchy monkey..

hi all.nothing much doing on the rebuild since last post...did a few panel test fits and found my tank was too far forward so the sides dont fit...minor niggle to unbolt and move the tank back..got some money now so can wrap the wiring in black and cable tie it all in place.bought a windy gun and a reg/oiler so i can get my roma wheel off soon too and do the brake shoes and engine mount bushes when im bored.wont be doing respray for a while so its gonna stay as is till i get my second wind..or some wet and dry for a rub down(panels...not me!)
