thanks man I just brought an aerox last night so i guess most of the developement is going into that now I think the vento will stay the way it is now I am about to order an mhr rep kit with a 21mm dellorto that i have already And a good pipe I want a scooter that wants to power stand off the light Not sure if an mhr rep will have enough grunt to make it to that
nice pipe unk: a rep will definatly make it power wheelie off the line. my ice did with just a mhr-rep bolted straight on with a 19mm carb and a tt pipe.
Im not sure on that one yet i will more than likely make my own end can Just make the alloy end cans on the lathe at work
Well my water pump and radiator turned uptoday now i just have to find a way to mount them that shouldnt be to hard I started work on my swingarm today to try and removed the locating bolt inbetween the mounts This will allow me to run a rearward facing carb And started to also fit my hpi ignition system Should be good when its all going
well here is some pics this is my swing arm not finished of course in the other pic you can see my water pump i am going to be going for a water pumper engine now Also you can see expansion chamber wall HA ha
keep up the good work m8, ether the rep with a single ring piston and a fair bit of grind work or buy an evo..., evo is the best power/money yuou can get an theres no need to further port it. you WILL be impressed.. remember to make the can longer than needed an trim back as you tune it.. will be a magic length that just works right. if you however arew up to making a pipe for the rox im sure somone will give you dimentions of there pipe (prefebly a c16/c21 depending on the barrel)
As you can see i have done a bit mor ei m aboxing in the sides of swing arm to give it some ridgity Its looks a bit rough at the time but i assure you when its finished it will look just fine
if i were you id be welding that bolted into a jig... amazing how much they can distort wiht a bit of heat... keep it up as always tho.. get that pipe finnished too.. i wanna hear it
Dont worry its been held when i am welding it I have a jig of sorts, im not welding it there on the carpet Ha ha yeah well pipe is on hold while i get the engine back together BUt then its full on waiting for my new cylinder to turn up as well
Well my swingarm is finished now All painted up and ready to go I will fit it omorrow and then its hurry up and wait for the other parts to turn up so i can put the rest of it together and get back to terrorising the neiighbours Opps thats right i need to make a new intake thats easy
Well my ignition is all mounted just have to wire it in and away we go Will be interesting to see what a good timing curve does to this engine
Thanks man Yeah i cant wait to get it going Waiting for the cylinder to turn up and then its away we go on the build i ma just turing up wooden cones to help me to make a better job of the pipe its not as good as i would like it so i will remake the cones
hi mate what exhaust are you going to be running with the hpi...... and what timing have you set the hpi to? Cheers BYS
had you read the whole thread and actually taken an interest, rather then simply asking questions for your own benfit, you might have found the answers by yourself. READ
waxhead have you got them pics of the modded air box mate? looking to fo thhe same to mine and just want to see how it's done properly.
do yourself a fav... fuck wood.. go grab a few diff size traffic cones an fill with cement.. pull it out an you got a heatproof form
I aggree that sounds good but these are at the perfect angle I just have to finshe the other 3 and i will be ready to go i will bend them around these and then tig them while they are on there and remove them Tig is so localised heat it will be fine
