my variator

started to strip my engine today so i can repair the water pump and found a shredded belt and bits all over the place but theres no where for a belt to go anyway i took my variator off and opened it to look at the rollers and they seemed rarther big to me (bigger than my aprilia ones)

so i looked on ebay and it matches up to the 125 variator, heres a pic

are all 50cc ones like that on the gilera?

you"ll have to measure the rollers...Runner 50 rollers are 19x15.5

only the really early runners had smaller rollers...but i would be surprised if theres many of them around still..

mine a 1999 model, i looked on ebay but only found runner 125 variators and there the same size anyone else got a picture of there variator? on there runner 50?

yeah you should be ok then...the 19x15.5 rollers were used from 98 onwards

I dont think the 125 variator would fit onto the 50 engine!!

i didnt think it would fit but it came off my 50 lol maybe its a 70?
