My On Going Zip Project.

Well I promised some more photo's so here you go.

Here you can see how much metal needs replacing compared to the standard cylinder


Here is the cases matched to the cylinder and the pm crank freshly installed


Here's the case modification we had to make for the manifold to sit flush on the cases due to it hitting the side. We would of done this earlier but we forgot to be honest.

Going for the completely stock look, So I can wipe the smile off all the kids in there 1.1 saxo's and there 50's aerox's which apparently can do 80mph with a endy init! Will post vids shortly. Big thanks too Zip Speed for helping me build this beast !!

In the future, (when next rebuild comes) cases will be sandblasted so they don't look so shit. I'm not going for looks. I'm keeping the ac front pannel, with a rad hole in it.

Had a speedy with a zx was rapid as fuck init not.

 

So, Where to start, Got it built up over last few days and fucking hell goes like shit off a shovel, Got it M.O.T'd and it passed straight away!! Now for the bad news Was riding it home and it cut out, No compression took the cylinder off and it's FUCKED. Circlips snapped and ripped the piston apart and the cylinder.

 

Was riding back, blipped the throttle and it just died, Took it home and checked for compression, Wasn't any pulled the cylinder off and it's missing a fat chunk out the side.
