problems today

i put the pipe on last night, changed cluthc springs and variator and rollers, jetted it and it ran sweet, gave it a wash last night and let it tick over for a bit.

was riding this morning and it wouldnt go, like flat out 10mph. stopped at a garage and could hold it flat out on stand and would barely revv at all. i turned ignotion off and left it a min then started and it was fine, then on the way home i was riding fine and my lights went off and it stalled, i pulled over, turned ignotion on then off and it ran fine again

nah mate iv got del 6mm ones already lol

dont understand wtfs goin on wit it, and if i go at a certain throttle positiion it sounds like the rings chatter really badly

 

you sure its not the rollers chattering, ive heard that before now...

happens sometimes when you mix 2 different roller weights

 

nah, theyre all the same weight, and had 3 diff sets in and a new variator, and defo not tighening on belt or anything, it sounds llike it comes from the barrel

if your worried, maybe you should whip the barrel off and see whats going on in there!!

i checked everything when i built it, and i had a look at the barrel etc yesterday, looks perfect, no marks at all

 

did you fit a new small end bearing when you fitted the kit ??

They tend to make a mettalic rattling noise when they are worn...

 

yep mate, stuck a new one in logical isnt it lol, whilst its apart

its only at like a certain revv, its fine everywhere else, and its on and off

and, i know this might sound stupid, but can you change crank seals without splitting the cases?

im having trouble setting it up, it was fine, but now it hardly moves on throttle, and you have to go liek flat out to get anywhere, but the plug seems a nice sandy brown colour etc

 

Havn't updated for a while, busy with college etc.

Added and changed some bits recently,

current setup is in sig.

Seem to have hit a wall with it now though, cant really get it going much better, just need to sort the transmission out, as it seems to revv and have no pull, so i think somethings slipping, will try heavier rollers later or adjust clutch

next things going to be a carb, then maybe a gear up in the near(ish) furture
