Well I could do either really but my solder iron is crap so I think to be safe I will use the connectors and just tape it back up after wards if I ever encounter a problem with the loom( mostly ignition wires) I will go the route of soldering so it's all as good as new but since its tab perfectly fine without either I think the connectors will do a good job, most of the ignition wires didn't have any tape on them even the ones which had been twisted back together going to look at buying some connectors now cheers for reminding me of the name
If I was in your position right now i'd be sitting my butt down an having a wee? bit of a think?, on the zip what I remember'ish is it's expensive dealing with cdi/ignition/immobiliser issues in regard to parts, an crankcase bearings an replacement or lack of being able to sort unless major £ flashed (complete replacement?)), If I were you - google the hell outta your 'ped but i'd also pay particular attention to the year especially., I'd get a speedfight / but from what I gather on site it's best to stick to a MK.1 - but with any ped some peeps get the bad apple in the barrel occasionally even when new .mk. .
I have been searching around I know that sorting some parts for the zip is real hard and quite expensive what I've been doing is comparing the prices of the zip 125 4t parts with the gilera runner vx parts as from what I know most vx parts will fit the zip the most costly part is the cdi from what I've found out and I am hoping its either cdi or stator plate or even maybe just the relay well I am hoping its one of the 3 and not the whole lot lol
Saw a cbr (new) up close outside of my training class the other month, luuush!, saw another on a site for sale for £650 - looked o.k. from a distance / but I bet it was more than likely s.....d within an inch of it's life!. .
Course you will,be thinking 'bout what you're getting on with afterwards, that's the ticket on thinking. .
Man i'm outta date at times,no idea 'bout those 2, be heading for an lc 350 after passing test- only had the 1 back then . .
Had quite a few s/dreams,think they're C 380+ _fuel, sturdy bikes, see a couple about still, fine nick- grab if cheap, reckon they ain't as cheap as when I was knocking about on 'em. .
yeah i know someone who has 1 looks really nice loud as hell lol but has the nice petrol smell when accelerating away
