hi guys i am still at a loss with this bike ,, i have changed the cdi and still no joy with the bike , i do have a pink wire hanging down near the engine ,it has a push on connector but i be buggered if i can see where its come from , certain people have said that their could be a broken wire some where , as the wiring on these bike are flimsy, some say try easy start, its really starting to be a nightmare, i really dont know if its the wiring or not , but my patiance seems to be slowly running out...

on those the pink wire is (if i recall correct) part of the restriction, it goes to a hall sensor on the transmission that picksup the speed of the clutch and restricts the rpm...

yep pink in the old bikes was a sensor link leading to the cdi. you would either disable from the cdi end unplugging the pink wire /or leading that wire to its source and disabling it there via its connector.

those older bikes were overseas models that were giving a quick fix restriction to abide by eu laws for shipping and eu use
