    It's a 17.5mm delorto carb so 6mm jets, I'd recomend malossi sport/yasuni r/gear up kit/ 75 jet 6g rollers.

70cc piston kits dont fit in 50cc cyclinder heads. most 70cc cyclinder kits come with all things you need to convert the engine but wont include the jets for the carb or the rollers. youl have too get them seperatley but there not exspensive

i think i have a leak from there, i have changd the float and pin, gaskets. dont no what to do.
the leak started after i filled the tank, also it dont start straight away, takes about a minute or so.

what do you think of this set up, any good.

    polini 70cc cylinder kit
polini 9 roller super speed variator kit
    polini kevlar belt
    leovince tt exhaust
    tnt 21mm carb

what sort of speed and performance will this give me????

    thanks

dump the 9 roller they're shit. Give no real advantage over a 6 roller, and a lot harder to setup. and remove the tnt carb they're SHIT. Crap copys of a dellorto carb. with the 17.5mm carb i'd say 55-60. w ith a gear up about 65.

if i were to for the time being, until i save some funds:

    derestrict variator (remove 2 washers)
    derestrict exhaust
    malossi 5g rollers
    upjet carb to 60/65
    polini clutch spring box

how fast would i be able to get to????

i have the standard pipe at the moment, but thinking of getting a leovince zx.

does the pipe make a difference in speed??

Yep. no point in upjetting for standard pipe. Or changing the rollers.

still having same problems, gotta fix this before i start modding..........

it speeds up to half throttle and eventually top speed is 32mph with variator rings off, i dont think thats right. if i twist it any more (full throttle) it starts slowing down. then to get speed back up i have to keep it at half throttle. the main jet on the carb is 56 at the moment. when i took apart the carb it was really clean to be honest and the jets were clear.

please help, as really confused at the moment.

no the only thing i did was clean out the carb, do u think it has something to do with the jets? i couldnt tell how fast it was going before cos the speedometer was not working, all i did was remove the rings on the variator.

also the mix screw on the carb and the idle screw, how many turns should they be from close position?
