the l plate has to be the size its sold as

best bet is to have a white panel somewhere and then you can just stick the L on

 

So really its illegal to have the L on the side of your trans case cus the L plate they give u is smaller

yeh when u order those side brackets to go on ur trans case off ebay or wherever they give u the L plate to go on it
