Here is some 2 year old pic of my Rocket, today shes back the same, going 70km/h, not more, otherwise the cops can confiscate the bike and wreck it...

Also here compared to my former 2012 pic you can see that there are not cracks in the leather of the seat, whats the best way to repair it instead of buying a new one ? I think a rocket seat original might be hard to find and costing tons...

Hi iv finally got my bike running after like 3 years!!!!stuck a 21mm carb on there with a 110 main jet and just open carb with cone.iv'e got mallossi variator ,gear up ki, unlimited CDI,but im still only hitting 45 max my roller weights are mixture of 3.5 and 4.8,So im gunna aim for about 5.5-6 grams and hopefully this should balance it out.Because at the moment its quite punchy on acceleration.

Ive been reading some good articles about the Leo Vince tt and seems to work nicely with my polini sport 70, im just wondering with my setup and raised exhaust port should i be going for something a bit more high revving?

I was under the impression that a TT would not be anywhere near god enough for your kit. Especially with the raised exhaust. Mabie a yasuni z or r?

Polishing my crankcase for mbk rocket
Started work on polishing a spare side case i had from a yamaha bws engine.... 20130625_191234.jpg

Using nitromors and wire wool to get the paint off,Plus the wire wool helps to buff it up a bit 20130627_185933.jpg

After a few hours i'd managed to get this,Plus my mate helped out 20130627_185745.jpg

now fitting the thing was very different caused me a lot of trouble because when i put it on bike the kick start would always catch on the variator, pulley and not allow the kickstart to fully return.I was starting to get very angry and eventually gave up........
Until today my dad came and gave some advice /had a look and we realised that inside the case there to pieces of metal that held the kickstart in place were to long and therefore the case wouldn't sit on properly, So i got the angle grinder away and ground them down bye about 2-3mm. Resulting in the crank case sitting flush on the engine....
So a word to the wise a yamaha bws/spy crankcase does nbot always fit an mbk booster or rocket (minarelli vertical) you may have to do some fine tuning like me

This is what she looks like now

The side panels on my scoot were wrapped using a hot air gun and credit card type tool, quite tedious but looks good i think,Really cheap as well off ebay.

So i thought the 21mm carb was eating a bit to much fuel plus i coudn't get my bike to have that low end power so that i could pop wheelies and maybe it was just trying suck in too much air.So i thought i bye myself a new 17.5mm carb with original airbox, because last time it had wheelie power that was the setup.

New up date,Hi,recently ive had ped setup bye a garage so it runs correct on the throttle and clutch but i dont have great accelration, as i got polini 70's and zx pipe plus all the extras(minarelli vertical engine) including gear up kit, and was wondering if this would be causing the slow acceleration. Its just a while back when bike was running good i was able to get the front end up quite easily using throttle and a little lift.then i fitted gear up kit ,pm tuning clutch with the tightest clutch springs and 17.5mm carb and couldnt get it running smooth.Like i said nowit runs smooth but just lacks that low down pucnh.Could it be the gear up kit or the new clutch or both???plus it makes one hell of aloud noise before getting anywhere, sound like a flipping turbo hair dryer, but bike barley moves lol
