have you got a cable already to your old pump ?
The first photo pump does not have a cable as it relies on the revs to put more oil in the engine.
So your pump looks like the first photo ??

I ordered the first pump thinking thats what I needed , but turns out I need the one with the cable as there is a cable that needs to go to it, at the moment it only has half of the pump inside, the missing part is for the little cable that needs to attach to it , i can't find it anywhere

I do not know of that type of pump having a cable to it.
Did you get the scoot with the top of the pump missing ?

Thats what i think I may need , but yes , it came with it missing, i did have an image from the guy but can't find it and I don't understand why they would put it back in the bike missing the other half , really annoying id rather have them left it off so that I could have replaced one half and then put new half on and bolt back on

Thanks for the photo and see from that that there is a pump with cable to it
By that photo your scoot has a 1E49QMB type engine.
I would not try to swap over part of the pump to go on the other pump, and the first photo does not have a shaft to be long enough to fit, and if it did manage to fit you would have 2 pumps in one pump.
Will they not take back the pump back so you can get the right one.

Not sure, do you have a link for the pump i need ?, its difficult to find as they all seem to come up with the one without cable , so frustrating

I'm also going to need to replace the starter motor but shouldn't be too hard , will need long Allen keys for it , when i looked at the state of it I was like this is why it dont turn over, they did a number on it , luckily I only paid £80

    Yes shocked, what a mess
Does the engine turn over once you remove the belt
On the belt there is a number like 669 18 30, but your need your number and they should be able to help with belt as well,as you said all needs new parts
Your need a tool to hold the variator and the clutch

Also should have new clutch and variator + belt
    Give them a call on 01384 571142
Tell them what scoot you have and the engine in it is a 1E40QMB 100cc
You can check the number if you look on left side of engine, right at the bottom of the engine
roughly below the cover you took off at the front.

If you have got the clutch nut off the clutch will just pull off as is on a splined shaft, but by the mess maybe rusted on

    yes
you could try if you have another person who can help
Hold the back brake on, and if you have a car oil filter removal band (strap type)put that around the clutch and hold

I'm assuming it has sat for a little while, its got good compression so hoping once i put new oil pump new variator and new clutch and belt and starter motor it will run fine then its just cosmetic
