    Newbie after some answers please.
What is the rubber pipe that runs off the exhaust for? Is it of any use?
If I bought a new exhaust without this on it, would I need to make adjustments?
    Thank you

Should of mentioned, at some point someone has welded up a large hole in the exhaust. Obviously something has been removed from here. Any ideas.

It may be an air intake pipe. Only thing is they are normally metal so not 100% sure

Yeah Air intake, its an emissions thing.
The other fatter pipe you see on the picture there is part of the restriction

Could be an additional emissions pipe thing.

Yeah as I said, it's an air intake. They call it "secondary air" or something like that. Pushes air into the exhaust gasses to meet euro 2 specs
