ok well ive been riding it rather hard. like full throttleing but not for long periods.

Seems to bog and full throttle cant work out if its lean or rich, ill have to do a plug chop tomorrow.

Did once ealier and it was chocolate brown.

yeah, make it bog for a few seconds then kill the ignition and lock the back wheel to stop the motor, then do a plug chop.

ive always ran my scooter on castrol TTS fully synth..

when i fitted my bore kit a few weeks ago the original 49cc piston
didnt even have the slightest score mark on it, even after 20,000km!!

And the barrel was unmarked as well...I was shocked :w00t:

Think thats reason enough to carry on useing TTS oil :D

its already got blue clutch springs in and my uncle said they were never changed and my cousin never changed them.

Does the colour mean nothing, i have some blue ones and some green ones.

Got the front wheel up for long earlier lol

i think the blue ones came with the tt but my cousin never fitted them because there were blue ones in already.

is the torque driver even going to make a noticeable differnce with a standard variator?

i know this is a long post but also how do i turn the oil pump up because at the moment im putting bit extra in with my petrol

Oh right... at the front of your tranny caseing theres a rubber bung.

lever the bung out and peer inside, and you will see your oil pump.

you will also notice the cable going through the caseing with an adjuster.

when you look at the pump...get an assistant to twist the throttle open on
the handle bars...and then you will see the crescent shaped cable linkage.

It will all make sense when you get this far.. you want the flat on the side
of the crescent shape (where the cable is) to be pointing straight up in the
    12 oclock position ;)

by the way when the bike is idling should the oil line be full, cus i took it off the carb and hardly any oil was going through, it was like dripping through.

When i got back from a good old raggin it was green though so it had been pumping it through i think.

p.s my malossi oil is green

yeah it only uses about 1/50th of the ammount of petrol it uses, for every 5l of petrol through the engne, only 100ml of oilgoes through, it wont flow into the motor.

yep thats it...but you dont need to take the whole caseing off to adjust the pump..

just lever off the rubber bung and thats an inspection hole ;)
