an iron kit will fully be run in after 500. to start with, first 100 mies take vary steady, 35-40 mph with the odd 5 second blast, then after that just take it easy.
the kit has done about 150 miles so far, does this mean i can cruz at about 45 just be carfeul on accelration?
Sorry i no im being a fuking idiot but what are you saying, i should run it at no more then 3/4 throttle for the next 100 miles although i have alredy done 150 to 180 Or that for the first ever 100 miles the kit does i should run it at no more then 3/4 throttle. As the first 100 miles was done at no more then 3/4 throttle can i start going over 3/4 throttle now that i have done more than 100 miles.
now you have done 150, use only 3/4 throttle, the odd 10 second blip should be ok. always make sure the bike is warm before riding and keep doing plug chops to make sure its runing right.
lol well its your bike :bird: i would do it for like 3 seconds... then gradualy build up time u full throttle it :bird:
ok well im trying my best to give it a good run in but whats the worst that can happen if its not run in properly, is it just a case of buying new rings and running the rings in for a hour or is the whole sleeve fucked
your piston will seize casuing the crank to over load pressure and blow of the head of the barrel and mabe crack the exhaust with the back preasure :msn1:
pmsl i was joking mate.... :w00t: i was laughing so hard then :bird: wobbly tells u the truth.. top end goes BANG!!!
i always let it warm up always and never run it flat out for more then 5 seconds except once. Im worried becuase before i got the bike my uncle let my lil cousin have a go in there garden. and he ragged off the spot.
you can ride it harder dont rag it unless you have to. should only use 3/4 throttle, prolonged full throttle kills scooters.
