isn't scooter tuning more illegal than car tuning especially when most of them are like 16 just wondering maybe that's why there scared of turning english kids into tuned ped riders

I agree with you 100% minor, the only thing really keeping the auto scooter scene nowadays is the forums and even so them are pretty much dead so some of the forums ive been on.

The english scooter scene NEED a max power, obviously with proper facts, not like airfilter BIG INCREASE POWER! get one now. etc. Something that tells you whats what. Like the german mags. they have a few now and all of them compare exhuasts new products and shit.

Rick that mag cover looks sick, even still if it has the 172 over it i'd still buy it..
Petrol mag has tryed to bring this to life tbh, but ive never really seen it in the shops online the first one online :/

i agree with what ride and minor and the likes are saying but see where monts coming from.

london kids aint as in to scoots as we were at that age any more because they are all shit now,

think about it, any one that's in to big bikes, or cars.
when you pick up a copy of fast bikes or fast cars and see a kitted r6 or golf gti you know you can go out and buy one of a dealer or 2nd hand of a trusted private seller and do the same thing your self.

where now days scoots are all ugly, and slow 4t that cost more then a 16 year old earns to tuned.

all the the 2t's are nearly as old as the kids that are old enough to buy them, and most 2nd hand bikes have got major problems due to their age and the seller is some dodgy thief who probably don't even own it.

the scenes fucked because their is no progress.

the manufacturers don't try to improve shit, so after market tuning company's don't so the scene is just left to die out.

shiny and minor are doing more work to advance tuning then pm are!!!.

things change and now days kids want a rs 125 or yamy 125 not a ugly slow arse 4t runner.
their aint no 16 year old with a poster of a nrg power on his wall.

and then theirs the fact that they always get stolen so you can even have a nice one with out having to secure it like your virgin daughter.

that's why i want the car for piratically, the 600 for my love of riding, and the typh for my play toy when their is a meet or a ride out.

i see (2t) scoots as collectables now so i can see why tag don't want to take the risk of changing their mag.

its a good thing forums like this are about or other wise the scene would be dead and buried for sure

 

i can only speak for the kids in London coz me nah live in the sticks ta rarse .

im surprised your post is still up their but their readers seem loyal to the rubbish the mag prints.

one of the guys takes a little subliminal dig at a forum (this one?) complaining that they are heavily in to modding as if that's a bad thing .

to be honest i say the best solution is to start a new mag

Yeah I got some of the old mags, used to buy it all the time but don't even bother picking them up now. I stopped buying it after one of the biggest events of the year (A.S.S, the 2006 one which was massive, loads of peds, stalls, compeitions) they had ONE page for it all. Yet about 10 pages of reviews of chinese crap. I got a little mention because I won runner up custom auto :mrgreen: but was expecting like a 4 page spread.

If you look a few topics down on there I've asked about putting the VX in there when it's done but not sure if it will go ahead now, would like to though.

twist and go used to be a good mag, was my bible to be honest, long before i discovered internet forums, hell i didnt even have a computer back then cratch:

was some good articles back then, exhaust pipe dyno shoot outs, tyre tests, fitting guides,
custom scoots...it was all knowledge i soaked up like a sponge, i couldnt wait for the mag to come out :yahoo:

i dont really bother buying it too much these days, just the odd issue now and again

cant agree more n its a point worth potitioning over boi i use to love the mag it was hard to find but good and it got me in to scooter tuning. then they changed the name n it did go down hill..... at the end ov the day the uk scooter sceen is BIG and its bulgin to grow...... 2 stroke tuning for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly i am not even chattin shit....if they went back to what it was i wud buy EVERY issue...but atm...i dont bother even lookin thru a single mag or even goin on the fucking site.
