same here! no actually, im not a "fuckin retard" im actually quite smart, smart enough to know that even if you did manage to sling a bottom end together with second hand parts, it would need to be on a pretty serious barrel with a gearup to pull 70, and i also know that a rs125 simply derestricted to 33bhp(ish) would leave anything but a select few VERY well built 70's, which would eventually fall behind. you must have had a pretty decent spec engine to keep up even slightly with a "fully tuned" rs125, and with your dodgy backstreet "sling da crank n barings in n bobz ya unklezzz" method i VERY much doubt you did.
lol m8 u dnt understand how serious im bein and yeh my 70s was pretty high spec the only thing i didnt have was an upgraded crank it literally had everythin apart from a crank trust me the bike was quick and whats wrong with you dont you know about luck i definately must have got lucky puttin my engine back together lol

Im guessing you assumed I was talking about a 2-stroke moped, I was actually talking about my GPZ 500, which although it will get up to temp in freezing cold it takes longer and In the week I only do 3-4mile small journeys, so to help stop the oil emulsifying iv done this so the bike gets up to temp quicker and runs slightly hotter so I can rev out the engine nicely before my destination, on longer journeys I remove it. Its a big 4-stroke in a low state of tune, very different to small 2-strokes which are warmed up by the time you get down the road..... (the thermostat is fine BTW)

barrel looks interesting at first but im pretty sure its an athena or top racing barrel you can see the transfers are wider from the marks on the case
messure the bore... then calculate the cc via the stroke and pi... strange kit, does look like an airsil but its got a single ring piston, could be stage 6 or somthing? REALLY not sure.. does it have ANY markings on it?
It has Airsal stamped on the side of it. Took a port map of it (first time ever trying it) Will measure it. How do you work out the cc?
