its not JUST the strength that you need, balancing.....thats the killer, could have the strongest crank in the world but if it aint balanced well enough then bang

i was running a rep on a stock crank... no prob's (kit went first) ive run some pritty harsh port maps on some supposedly cheesey cranks and havent really had any trouble.. ive seen more malossi cranks fail than anything else tho. not atall balanced.. like, ATALL

im running an rms crank now (stock really wiht a diff conrod)

caqn hide a rad on a typh aslong as its a 50 rad (absoloutly no need for a 125 rad on this bike, it wont get up to opperating temp...) better option is sell the front 2 pans and swap them for nrg items

Okay, I was just going to put a 125 rad on just to be on the safe side :)

ye, wont work.. infact being on the "safe side" as you put it will result in a seize when the piston swells quicker than the barrel.

stick to what works till it stops doing its job...

Yeh the last couple of weeks in the freezing cold iv had to block half of my rad with cardboard inserted between it and the grill just so it runs hotter.

You shouldnt really need to do that, the manufacture of these bikes will test them in temps much colder than it gets here.
Ive never had problems with a bike overheating or not getting hot enough.

about the crank thing...my gilera 50 seized so i got a second hand crank, took my engine out using mole grips and an adjustable wrench, used a few sockets and some elbow grease to get the engine split, put the crank in changed bearings (also second hand) and then put it back together. after about a month i put a 70s in my bike and im not jokin for the 8 months i had that gilera nothin beat it in a race apart from a rs125 fully tuned and it wasnt even leavin me disgustingly. so yeh ragsin the nuts off my gilera 70 with standard crank hittin bout 70 and it never gave me any trouble, not balanced or anythin like that jus done in my garden haha! jus thougth id tell u my story cos ur all goin on bout balancin them n can they handle it n shit...

well you reckon you stuck a "70s kit" on your bike with a thrown together second hand bottom end and got 70mph, beating a "fully tuned" meaning more then 33bhp rs125.

you have no idea how ridiculous that sounds mate, not only is there not a chance in hell of your "70s" hitting 70, but if the fully tuned rs125 only just hits 70 i would be sourly disappointed with my purchase.
