lack of respect on road

if i hadnt i would have been off i was leaning into an immediate right hand bend
she came across me instead of keeping right in her own lane,by kicking her car it helped to keep me upright

 

I allways look at the driver and the car ..you know if they are on the phone they aint gonna see ya or loads of kids and baby on board sticker means the same. Rush hour makes people drive like twats and in the evening around this time of year its speeding minicabs or pissed drivers. Only real advice I can give as an old git is stay calm and like somone else said imagine that all of them are out to get you and you will second guess them most of the time.
Failing that pull there ignition keys out at the lights and ride off ! or just get off and start some panel beating on there car ,head etc with your chain .... ...oh yea stay calm!!! happy Christmas stay safe.

 

too right mate, i live in peterborough and the worst place for shite drivers is probably taveners road and lincon road...

 

bestone i had was on a 50 stretch that runs to the next main town i was on the road on my own in the middle of the day in the sun enjoying the ride then some prick pulls out of a side road in a transit van then decides to pull up at the side of me sat there rather close to me for a few seconds then pulls infront of me nearly taking me out i hit the horn and he did the same and kept hitting the brakes. i pulled into a pub carpark cos thought he was after my ped or knocking me off.Then luck would have it accross the road from the pub is some industrial units that had cctv pointing at the road i got the guys reg and had a trip to the cop shop.They was really helpfull they checked out the cctv and paid him a visit he obv said he didnt do anything. the cops gave him a warning and some sort of strike on the vans reg sort of like what they do with drug dealers cars so if the police have reason they can stop him and search his car without warning/worrant.
So im hoping he gets stopped all the time pisses him right off

 

i had problems on a 50, people would speed up when you plan to overtake

now i got the 125 so i dont really get a problem, altho one guy did try to speed up and not let me in on a corner in heavy rain when i was overtaking on the 125 so i terrorized him for a few miles then when he stopped at the lights i told him what i though of his driving then continued to terrorize him

 

i work at a pizza hut delivery store usually between 4 and half 8 the roads are usually quite busy and the crappy 4 stroke 50cc peugeot scooter barely makes it to 30mph, you get alot of dickheads who speed past as close as they can to you or sit right on your ars even on 30 roads, i defanitly agree that you should have to complete a cbt before doing your car licence maybe this would teach peaple to respect smaller slower moving vehicles on the road
