dont need a speedo...my dads car passd with the whole dash section removed...so no indication of indicators..fuel...speed..milage...etc.you do need ne for sva tests tho
now take that car down to a proper dealer for an mot and see if it passes.. pure snyde mot if you ask me.. outlines of road worthyness is on the dvla website so feel free to read up that you DO need a speedo that reads in mph aswell as atleast indicator and high beam warning lights
yeh starkie is a fool! course u need indicator warning lights!!! even tho he rides with them on anyways :msn1: if you didnt have them you might just drive around all day long with high beam on and you left indicator arc: ...but back on topic the koso clocks will be fine for mot
what about bikes with daylight only mot what have absolutely nothing apart from a brake light and a horn :w00t:
you have to have a speedo but it dosn't have to work, you have to have warning lights that work only if they are fitted as OE (original equipment) but i took my senda or an MOT with a push bike speedo attatched and no warning lights or anything and it still passed. fuel guages are optional.
yeah my bike passed with a snapped speedo cable so basically by law your not allowed to take additional warning lights off... but mot have to presume that they werent there in the first place... like if ya cover ya indys in duct tape theyre not technically there lol sam :bird:
