ill do the seat for 20.. you need to cover postage both ways.. hassel tbh, grab a staple gun an do it yourself.
theres plenty upholstry guides on the net im sure.. will cost a stapeler and spray glue (around a score for the pair) so will cost the same, you learn sommin an can repeat the job to recoupe your losses ;)

it takes a bit of skill.. but just get it cut LARLY to size so theres plenty to play with.. staple once at the front, hold failry tight to the back and staple in place.. then pull down the sides, then chace any left over folds by pulling certian places.. try it with an old bedsheet at first a couple times to practice. not a good idea having your first try with the glue on and the only peice of decent covering you have..

look, paying somone to do it "properly" will be exactly the same job you will be doing, your not stitching anything together. your stapeling a bit of fabric on somthing and making it tight. not rocket science.

well my current seat is stitched  it has quiet tight corners so has a piece for the top an side and a piece for the front then one for the rear. there would be no way of doing it without stitching the bits together as far as i can see.

of course you can....its a seat, any shape can be coverd without stitching, its not a sofa.. just need the right material. only leather will need stitching as it DOESENT stretch.. some harder fabrics also need it but your not likely to find any of this to buy off the roll/by the metre..it will be somthing flexible waterproof and cloth lined your looking for. most upholstery shops will have sommin suitable. belive its boat seat covering or somthing. ive used allsorts befor now

    What he said^^^^
I've used brown leatherette off a dining chair before for a single saddle. It was the right colour.

can beat that... used a paddeling pool to cover my nsr seat.. was identical to the turquise on the seat already.

but ye, stitched covers are less flexible so need stitching to attain a good fit. should last longer but they split all the same, one peice of fabric unstitched can cover any seat. most of the time its for looks as stitched seats can have diff fabrics/cutouts and piped edges..

as far as you can see isnt verry far if you wont try. how many people are put off doing such simple things because of "what they see" just listen, and try.. if your not willing to listen and try just plain send your bike to somone to mod. you wont ever finnish it otherwise

so today i recieved my wheels :) found 2 problems but ther not to bad. first is the aerox hub doesnt fit because the splined section diameter is alot smaller on a aerox. second is my ludix front axle is to thick. im going to get a speedfight rear hub and a aerox front axle with spacers on the ends so they fit in the forks. as i did engineering at college for a year iv got people i know doing that and they will make me them :). also the wheels are badly flaked but the bloke told me that when i bought them. started to strip the rear wheels down as it was in a worse state then the front wheel shown in the picture below?
and will be putting my drum back on for now then ordering my bits when iv sold the jog.i also got a brand new rear tire with my wheels and i made a template in graphics to show the size of my new numberplate.
and and and i ordered a new flywheel and stator plate tonight :) £70 its a bargain.

Nothing personal but i don't like the fact people change plates/ cut L plates down it's a instant pull most of the time and just gives the cops something to pull you over and check out your bike. I don't know whether the plates can get you points but i know it's a fine at the very minimum.. what is the point in risking that for a numberplate?

    I just don't get it.

to be honest mate i see where you are coming from. but i really dont like the standard platets and you may think im stupid but personal i think its worth the risk. and ill deal with the conciquences when it comes to that :) but thanks or your concern.

Worth the risk? For a smaller plate? Thats stupid mate... get 3 points because of it, all you have to do is go through a speed camera or something and your banned! But it's a risk that your willing to take. If you like it thats all that matters

well i realised today that i couldnt be bothered with selling my jog so i sold it to my dad for 200 seen as he payed for it and then i swoped him my laptop that he payed for rather then paying him the money :p
so anyway. iv got money again so iv ordered a side stand new stem, handlebars and a rear hub. in contact with someone about a axle for the front. so got a few more bts on the way :) will post an update when they arive.

also my numberplate and stator have arived :)

if you put the thinner aerox axle in the wheel wont fit properly will it? as there will be space in the inner bearings, knock the bearings out of the aerox wheel, ask a bearing specialist if they have/can get one with the same outer diameter but the inner diameter of the lundix axle

if your into engineering then you could make a rear hub that the disc attaches to and the rear wheel bolts onto that then bolts onto the engine? not sure on another way

and i got a £30 fine for numberplate, its up to you end of the day, i had my ped with no L plate on the front and it was no worries, when i got on the gy i ripped the front L off, chain fell off and a pig car came behind me. came over and asked questions, told me if i get caught again ill get a fine for no front L plate

both are cut down though :wtf: havent had any hassle anymore bar a helicopter chase lol

    sam
