well, its not even a true 183 at 55mm... you need to work out the area of the piston then times by the stroke..

its a bit weird, but there are different ways of doing it, this is my way which gets me different results but should still work :confused:arc:

172cc is the barrel width x 52mm stroke

so if you divide by 52 it givse you cc per mm stroke, which is 3.308
if you multiply that by 55, the new stroke, it should give you the new cc
    this is 181.9

its a bit differnet but its the same principal

but then u have to take into account the 172 kit wont be an exact 172.0cc

we've come to know it as a 183cc as scootercentre advertised originally, might aswel just leave it as that unless someone wants to actually measure it properly?

I dont understand what you mean??

Do you mean that you got your bike stolen and you now want compensation??

I got compensation for 'Scar face minor disfigurement'...nothing at all for getting my bike nicked. It was for the scum who beat me up and put me in hospital.

its getting silly now all these bikes going missing, my typh 172 was stolen from my garden a yr ago, my new runner has an a shitload of security and loads locks on the back gate, and someone already been nosing coz alarm was going off the other nite. proves it tho, owning a gilly just aint safe. dont have as much hassle with the being robbed, only heard of one instant in my end. we all have 2 work our arses off 2 earn some dollar 2 work on our bikes, and some absolute prick thinks its his business to walk off with it at 4 in the morning. CUNTS. that word sums it up

thats because gillys are so easy to rob i would say how but there are peole watching.i could walk up to a gilly with no tools and rob it.not saying that i would.

yep, any scooter is stupidly easy 2 steal. i mean the times people have locked keys in there seat and weve basically nicked the bike so they can get home n get there spare is silly. ud think manufacturers would have sorted this out, but 10 yrs since the 1st runners n there still a piece of piss 2 take. many chains, disc locks and an alarm always help

2 strokes are a piece of piss to take

4 strokes came out in 2001 and have an immobilisor, not bullet proof but makes it impossible to steal within 5 seconds like a 2 stroke can

doesnt take an hour to wire up a kill switch straight into the loom,
like to see people steal a bike they cant start there and then (with exceptions of proper criminals who bring a van in the first place)
