supposedly 1 in 1 million particals... so fuck all basicly... good filters point the holes up tho, entire point fo them LOL
Any one know if this can be used for the oil feed? Product Nr.: PP1000 €54,- Intake manifold spacer kit -PRO PORTING- Piaggio - connection diameter 34mm for BGM PWK, Keihin PWK, Koso PWK and Dellorto PHBH carbs. With a little pressure it is no problem to fit carbs with an connection diameter of 38mm. Fits to all reed systems which are similar to the V-Force3 and Malossi. There is no need for the machining of the engine casings. Delivery contains fitting material. There is an option to fit a depressure pipe with M6 thread. Therefore you have to drill the holes to 3mm.
nah its a good inlet.. just needs an angle shim in there to get the tract right.. or a slither of rubber going into the top of the reedblock to smooth it all out. would draw it but im lazy. and yes pre reedblock nipples can be used for oil or vac (diameter dipendant) post reedblock (engine side) is for fuel pumps and the like...
Yepp, I was just thinking the same, so I will probably get the engine cover powdercoated at my work. The original cover needed some new paint anyway. And about the mudgard, you are absolutely right. But I think it need some paint, rather than just a good clean.
I have now dismantel all "loose" parts on the side casting. Will now have it clean and paint stripped, then powder coated black. The kickstarter axel is a little bent, so I had to knok out the bushing with the axel inside. Will try heating it, and then bend it back. As this is the engine I bougth from Ebay, it has a small damage as you can see on the pictures below. I don't think this will affect the strenght thoug.
I was a little bored tonight, so I desided to open the old series 1 engine that is the original engine on the Typhoon. The castings looks ok. The variator does not look that good :msn1: The rear pulley is also showing some damage, but this looks "fixabel" Clutch looks brand new
I did got my new brakes today. Everything looks realy good, but there is one fault, the disk is a little bent, so it catches the brakepads when I turn the wheel around. It's not much, about 1-1,5 mm but I don't think this is good enough, so I will send a claim to http://www.speedline.dk and hear if they can send me a new one.
did you order the adaptor bracket ffor a typh will take adaptor take standard sized runner disc looking good btw
