Hi Terro. Nice to see MY Thyphoon as a sticy I have not been working on it for several months now, as I using all my time on rebuilding the livingroom and kitchen. If you have a facebook account I can add you as my friend, and you can have a look at my work.
nice project john, just wish I had the money to buy some trick bits like yours. would make my zip cool as. still looking forward to seeing yours come along, hope it goes well.
Any one tried this shock from Scooter Center? I think it would look nice on this Typhoon  https://www.scooter-center.com/scow...arget=productdetail&category1=A&category2=CAT Shock absorber rear -BGM PRO R1, 285mm- Piaggio 50-180cc item number BGM7702 Shock absorber rear -BGM PRO R1, 285mm- Piaggio 50-180cc Grip, bank, tracking stability, handling, wheelspin, braking action... These are some of the exposures a good quality chassis suspension has to cope with. bgm offers a solution for every operational area. The bgm PRO R1 range brings you High Tech as its best. The alloy body of the R1 is CNC machined. The preload of the sporty red spring can be adjusted to your requirements. Thanks to gas pressure the PRO series is much more situated for racing style riding, braking and accelerating than the counterparts which are simply filled with oil only. With an ambitious riding style the oil gets hotter and thus thinner. The damping attributes are getting worse and worse the thinner the oil gets. With gas pressure operated shocks this is no longer an issue. The damping attributes are staying at the same level all the time. But the bgm PRO R1 shocks do not only work a treat they are also looking absolutely amazing in their CNC machined optics and with their red spring!
I haven't tried that one but BGM bits are generally very nice quality. I quite like the yss shocks scooter center sell. I'm not a believer of expensive shocks on a scooter.
that shock is worth the money , works really well have one on my typhoon now. but there's plenty others just as good for the same money.
I don't remember, but I bougth them from http://www.piaggiospares.co.uk/spares/modelImage.asp?modelID=1604&uID=0 Item no:654454 "STORM" STICKER KIT
