it seems alot of work to essentially turn a polini racing cylinder kit into no more than a aerox 100 engine

would it really make much more power than a sport 70 with a peak rpm of 7 - 8 k rpm

would a sport 70cc kit with a long stroke crank do the job?

i wanna see it when your done tbh. i want to see a comparason between other set ups

Piston is about £170 with rings, should last in the region of 10-12k but nothings guaranteed, its an experiment, if it goes bang i will find out why and sort it, all comes down to how much time and money your willing to throw at it.

Twin lump, Engine mount cracked because the couriers are barbarians! Might be able to alloy weld it, or just replace the case.....Thing is the morini cranks are shocking, may have to come up with something to replace them.

Hi Guys back again with an update, Finally found some time to do my italjet, Managed to strip it all down today, For the frame and bits to go for sandblast, powdercoat and chroming,Im chucking the engine cases into a vat of acid to clean and then i will polish them, I Test painted a panel in rosso red but ive decided to change and go for deep purple candy apple, Knightmare when i scratch it know! :p Only thing im a bit stuck on is the colour of the frame!, Lime green? white? need to make a decision and quick! help!!

You know you want to get the frame chromed :D

Lime green would look good but IMO get a panel done before deciding for definite what colour. IMO the wrong colour frame on these can ruin the whole paint job

Any thoughts on what parts you want?

ive decided today to go for a white high gloss powdercoat, wheels white sis arm white, and all the panels candy purple. sent the frame today, The bloke rekons it will be done next week, i want to put an italjet 125 twin in but i need a crankcase as the mount has been cracked by some idiot. Should be ok to make it all fit and worry about the crankcase while the frames away. More pics soon!

If im brutally onest the 125 lump was an impulse buy as it was a 2cylinder, are they shite then? i thought it would be different and they sound epic!

wasnt ever any parts for them apart from a shitty endy exhaust pipe (lol) and the crank was ment to be bloody weak and bloody expensive to replace.

go for it they are bloody quick for standard 125's if you ask me and i like the noise too

Someone has got a 125 engine dragster engine but i dont realy want to destroy the frame, they are getting rare now in nice condition, so im going to buy a peugeot ludix and fit the 125 drag/runner lump in and more than likely fit a 172 kit and race crank and all that.

Buying a Dragster 125 aswell lol the old deer is starting to get the ass now tho lol

Got the rear fairing panles painted outside today while the weather was nice, thought i would take a photo to show you lot
