So 200 miles / week?

It should do it. It'll take a while for your commute but the scooter itself should be fine with it.

200 miles per week on the old girl, can't see why not, particularly if you have some spanner time spare on your 1 day off a week. :)

Now I don't even carry the factory tool kit on the bike!

Planning camping in the summer though, now what am I going to need, 8, 10, 12, 14, 17 mm sockets and spanners and....

aup mark,i dont no much about your scoot or what youve done to it but i had something similar years ago,,it wanted to roll backwards on hills and did the speeds you mention

the guy across the road at the time was a pizza bike mechanic,,,,pulled another exhaust out the back of his van, bolted it on,,,the thing flew up hills and cruised at 30-35mph,,alot safer at roundabouts aswel

you could prob find a newer model exhaust on fleabay for a tenner

i did 110 miles on my scoot yesterday (took note of what km it was showing on odometer and just checked it then converted to miles) and its going fine today. dont see why if you maintain it, it wont do 200 miles in a week. easily done aslong as its maintained well.

doing 200 miles over 6 days is no different to doing 200 miles over 6 months, the problems your bike would have in 6 months is going to happen in 6 days

works out at 30 odd miles a day,,unless your at full throttle on a summers day i cant see why this would be a problem for a reliable bike
