yeah ive seen them on carphone warehouse for 169, really tempted. So I'm guessing you download a file to unlock it, but i heard something about not being able to update it, does that mean you won't ever be able to sync it with your computer again?
Nah you can still sync it with your pc and itunes. And you can update to the latest firmware which is 1.1.4 and unlock it the same way as the other firmware versions.
