    going rate on a rebuild is 100 wihtout parts... thats a reputable mechanic doing the work.. not jus some random bloke.

    well, i dont know him, nor his work.. but offering any commercial service (work for money) without our permission is a banable offence....


    so ye, if your here to get work, go away... not needed, theres plenty people on here offering rebuilds already (ones ive seen do work)

    like i said in the first place.. if you need it doing ask about your local shops, if they dont give you good prices/seem useless or are for any other reason useless (ask people on here about any shops) then you can bring/send it to myself/wobbely/shiny to do the work (thats north south and west coverd)

    erm, im not all that botherd... i dont want people coming back to me about idiots bodging engines up because they were offerd work via PM on my site... prity simple really dont you think?

    you should be banned for that responce alone. the work dont bother me, the fact you had to SLY it in to him via pm and the fact nobody knows you/your work and your charging shop prices....

    for now ima leave it... cba wiht raising to internet hardmen giving the usual responce. dont offer services on here anymore. its in the rules YOU agreed to (you know that box that says you read the rules, even if you didnt they apply to you)

    fact is i didnt ban you nor will i for this.. youve been warned tho.. no offer of work for money wihtout consent of the forum owners. its a hobbiest website not a free for all for anyone wanting to get a bit of money out of the scene (again, not personal. you get ALOT of shops on sites claiming to be random people, sick of it, sick of complaints from people about members doing work for money, so ye)

    dont be silly....no argument.. just lookin out for the best interests of both you and the board.

    main thing, go wiht somone you trust and know will do a good job... get friendly wiht the shop staff in your area, if there not frendly why pay them? need somone local to you that is GOOD with these things as most places see them as silly little scooters that anyone can fix.. simple as shit and just steam in arms first not actually having a clue (this is shops im talking about, mostly big bike dealers) takes some skill to get a crank in an engine CORRECTLY. anyone can put one in, few can tell you wether its right or not. only way you find out is when it blows up.

    ether way from your poor explination yes your crank is seized and the conrod is free meaning dead main bearings... rebuild needed or look on ebay for a cheap engine.

    sorry about the poor explanation mate im not too good with explaining things so are you saying i have a seized crank and need new main bearings or its just my main bearings thnks alot to everyone for all the help ill recommend this site :punk:

    from the sounds of it it needs new main bearings and the crank is ok... BUT whoever is rebuilding it should look at it irst and assess how worn the crank is, or if its still straight.

    rebuild usually consists of a new set of main bearings,oil seals, waterpump where applicable, new top end gasget and the crank checked thouroughly/rebuilt/replaced... for the cost of it and the work you may aswell get a new crank

    ye said befor... im here if you need me, but i dont know where you are, and its best to go wiht somone local to yourself. shops are the best option as you have comback (unless they go all gay and dont offer a warrenty on a rebuilt engine like lots of clueless assholes do) but ye, if theres nobody you trust in the area myself wobbely or shiny should be atleast closeish to you.

    bottom l;ine, if its wrong/fuckes up too soon you need some comeback, having random people do it for you means zero comback.. never had a crank rebuild come back... christ ive not even had an engine in twice in 3 years...waiting on a bgm crank failure so i can atleast quote how long they last... so far 3 years LOL
