I see there is no Birthday greetings on this forum

isn't this like saying, I don't think we need to look at any other kind of bike but mine.

 

well no, not really. what im saying is, we all look at eachothers bikes and most of us will give opinions etc and talk about eachothers bikes, even if we own a different type of bike, all im saying is, is there really a need for a birthday reminder on a forum? if we even cared about that person that much to be making the effort to do the whole happy birthday thing then surely wed have them on facebook like i do with hairyjim.i just dont see the point in putting a birthday reminder on this forum seeing as itd become one of those features rarely used like chat is. a feature that would take time and possibly money to put into place.

I asked because I belong to a few other forums including motor bike forums, Harley-Davidson for one, http://www.hdforums.com/

they all have a birthday greeting at the bottom of the page and the individuals receive an email wishing them a happy birthday , and those who don't want to ascribe to it don't look at it,
