i love that argument...."you should never use your front break in a corner tho" you DONT FUCKING BREAK IN A CORNER, YOU END UP DEAD!!!! you set the speed your going to enter the corner then accelerate throuh it.... if youve ever used your brakes in a corner your a SHIT rider and a danger to yourself/people around you.. FACT
ye, so its straight line breaking.. you use the front to stop you and the rear just to steady the rear/decompress the front forks... can say it as many way's as you like, using your rear brake first/alone/for skidding is stupid.. breaking in corners is stupid, falling off is stupid (especially if its down to poor breaking procedure) take it as learnt, its one lesson you wont forget
was playing about with my brakes today on a nice ride to cheltenham (About 10 miles) and ive got to tell ya ive never noticed that using the back brake after the fronts compressed the forks, that it does bring it back up  learn something new everyday lol
none of you done a cbt ? they even tell you to use you front break 70-30 and to use the front first...and thats just on cbt
Wow at thread. Even when I had my scoots I didn't use the rear brake much. With my superbikes I use engine braking and front, my rear is non existant lol. As mentioned above it's like 70 30 or 80 20. Take a look at the pic, 2 massive disks and calipers on the front and a tiny disk on the back with small caliper.
