i got away with one on friday, been stuck on the M1 for ages because of an accident, o coming through the roundabouts (in the wet) near worksop i'm booting the arse out of the car, came off one roundabout and caught the back wheel on a lump in the road, the car was at about a 45 degree angle sideways and theres a copper in the lay-by, blue lights on and a corsa sat there. he didnt even bat an eyelid at the fact the car had opposite lock on, on the rev limiter at least 20mph above the speed limit.

 

the thing that annoys me "met police, making london a safer place"
fair enough, do what they have to do, but y the fines and points....

the one i will never forget was in 2003 was 12am went through town centre twice second time comeing out i was going home i get followed by a copper.he pulls me up and says whats your reason for rideing through town twice,i said no reason didnt even know you had to have a reason to ride long as your legit

half a l plate was of he did me for this on a saturday nite

i just said well done

i mean what a tit back then i was 19 and i told my dad he went skitz

i think no points should be allowed for l plates as they just snap of all time just give them a warning as such

 

I've had any amount of L plates they always come off on me... The ones on atm have lasted about 1,000 miles because I made sure they wer on good...

I manage to keep a low profile with the police and never go past them at 60 (Clock speed, sooo about 50 xD ) I always keep to the speed limt if I ever see a pig car because they love speeders round here... Some of you have have some police troubles by the looks of it... Are London police really that bad for hating ped riders?? You guys got it bad if they are

i was riding behing a bloke in his 60s on a sym jet, both of us were pulled over, they just waved him back on his way then tried to rape me for everything they could find wrong, even started writing a ticket out because my scooter had less than 1mm of tread on the tyre, so i pointed out it was a moped and only had to have tread showing across 3/4 of the face, got a bollocking for "smoked lenses" which are the stock ones that it had from the day it was built and sent on my way.

 

as long as u have different coloured bulbs its legal isnt it? i have carbon fibre ones and red/ orange bulbs and they work as good as stock ones.
