how i can wire a Water pump

i have a water pump on my aerox 50cc and its connected to the battery directly which makes the ignition starter doesnt work and always have to use the crank i want it to start after the engine is on !

 

Fit a switch between in the positive and run it to the dashboard.

 

+1 for the switch but are you sure its the pump that's causing the starter issue? Clearly it sounds like the pump is drawing voltage but have you disconnected the wires and tried starting it then? If it still doesn't start on the starter then it's a different issue.

 

already thought about the switch but im afraid i'll forget it open someday lol!

 

if its not the pump what could cause the problem !
