HOW DO YOU DE-RESTRICT A LASER X-PRO PIPE?
where it joins to the barrel its got a litle cone spot welded inside.. what i did on mine (becaue i had no proper tools lol) was file down the spot welds as much as possible.. then i put the end of the ratchet i had into the bottom of the cone and hit it a few times with a hammer lol.. if youre gonna do it this way make sure you kinda bend the cone in half so you can turn the pipe upside down after and shake it out
Try taking the exhaust pipe to a local dealer or even a car garage might do it for nothing.
Everytime I get a new pipe, I take it down my local and he removes the restrictor cone for freeeeee because it takes seconds with the right tools.
Or you can bang it out just like rideorcollide said.

yeah i would have taken mine to a garage but couldnt ride there with it off lol and with a restricted lazer.. fuck knows how slow youre gonna be going. my bike was slow as anything even after i derestricted it.
dont take your pipe to a garage to take out a little cone :banghead:
pair of pliers to hold the cone file it down with a file and wriggle it all about til it comes off not really a hard job =/ (just make sure you file the whole of the spot weld is gone once youve got the cone out)

You probably wont fuck it up, but dont let the dealer do it if hes gonna charge more than a tenna, because most places will do it for free.
one cordless drill and one of these
finnish wiht some corse wet and dry/emery paper.
the bit costs a couple quid and turns the entire washer to little bits of metal.. no risk of it falliong inside then. remove the can first (obviously) and then hover the exhaust once your done, dont want any shit in there when you first run the bike, it wil go inside the engine aswell as outside the exhaust. but ye, 2 min job
